Carl has over 50 years experience in the energy and related natural resources business.

In addition to being the in-house oil and gas expert at Bedford, he also oversees the acquisition, lease and/or resale of oil field equipment to accommodate current Company needs. 

Carl’s scientific background from the University of New Mexico combined with years of hands on experience in the field has risen him to the status of petroleum icon.

Carl has been an industry partner with independent producers and major oil companies, Carl has also had ownership in numerous petroleum companies both public and private and has sat on the boards of many more. . He has also served as consultant to a host of the world’s top geologists, drillers, operators and related energy concerns that would read as the who’s who of oil and gas.

His experience in both building companies as well as working at large companies ideally suits him to be one of the key leaders at Bedford Energy. Carl’s background and contacts within the industry are so vast that people regularly seek him out to do business with. The most similar analogy would be an avid golfer wanting to play golf with legend Arnold Palmer.

Because Carl has lived in Oklahoma City for over five decades and has been highly visible and active within the community, Carl has always been easy to find and those that know him understand his integrity and formidable track record.
